Business Problem

The collection, analysis, and dissemination of basic planning and engineering information on a uniform, areawide basis in order that better development decisions can be made in both the public and private sectors.

Technology Implemented

Computer-assisted mapping, computer simulation modelling, GIS, aerial photography, digital orthophotography, field surveys, traffic surveys, and the analysis of socio-economic and behavioural data.

The Commission is staffed by a multi-disciplinary team of engineers, planners, scientists, and technicians from a variety of academic disciplines.
