Business Problem

Multiple: Promote use of GIS at Department of State as information management tool in support of US foreign policy goals. Enhance information sharing in humanitarian emergencies and other complex operations involving many agencies and programs. Increase public awareness of State Dept. mission and importance of geography for US national interests.

Technology Implemented

Have used ArcView, ArcInfo, and ArcIMS in conjunction with other database and web applications.
