Development Team Biography

AAA GIS incorporates a multi-layered database, automated production processes, and traditional cartographic skills to produce more than 44 million paper road maps annually for the Associations 42 million members. AAAs Publishing/GIS Development and Support Group develops in-house mapping and travel routing solutions based on software from ESRI and other vendors. GIS Cartographers use Automated Extraction routines to derive map layers from the Master Database. The Internet Triptik and all GIS maps contain proprietary travel information and are designed to meet the touring needs of AAA members.
