Business Problem The purpose of the Essential Fish Habitat site is to allow a wide spectrum of users to ask sophisticated questions of spatial or tabular data, and where the tabular data is linked to the spatial, allow for true spatial analysis - including geometric operations such as intersects and unions. Technology Implemented ArcIMS with Standard HTML Viewer, Oracle - ArcSDE, and Sun's Java Development Kit. Development Team Biography Steve Lewis is the GIS Coordinator and an Analyst for NOAA Fisheries, Alaska Region in Juneau Alaska. He has a B.Ed from the University of Alaska.
