GreenInfo Network is a non-profit that provides GIS support to public interest groups. Celebrating its 10th anniversary in 2006, GreenInfo has helped almost 300 organizations with GIS-based mapping, analysis and communication projects. Business Problem Solved
GreenInfo has created a sustainable approach to GIS support exclusively to non-profit organizations, including conservation, environmental public health and social service groups. With a staff of nine GIS specialists, GreenInfo is the largest non-profit in the United States that is devoted exclusively to helping other non-profits with GIS. Technology Implemented
GreenInfo Network relies heavily on ESRI ArcGIS software running on PC hardware. We use HP plotters and Xerox color lasers for high-qualiy print production. We also use a variety of other graphic and database software in our projects. Development Team Biography
The GreenInfo Network staff is made up of nine GIS professionals, led by Executive Director and organization founder Larry Orman. Associate Directors Aubrey Dugger and Tom Albo manage GIS operations, and GIS specialists Amanda Recinos, Maegan Leslie, Ryan Branciforte, Nick Maricich and Jennifer Shanks conduct project work. |
