Project Goal

To provide information system with the capability of capturing operations data formatted for executives and managers. This is a series of GIS-based applications that deliver data from several servers and databases reflecting real-time events taking place in the field of operations. The programs run constantly on managers’ desktop personal computers or laptops showing data in a format similar to a dashboard. This new “Map Board” combines dashboard like data (attributes) and a map of the city of Jacksonville with points relating to various disciplines. Applications developed to this date are for the following services: Solid Waste/Recycling complaint tracking, Auto Vehicle locator, Post Hurricane Debris management and tracking, Event Traffic tracking, Crime statistics, Sexual Predators, Construction Permits, and Storm Incident tracking
