Track: Engineering Design and Construction
Author(s): Tim Gunn

This presentation will provide an in depth explanation of what exactly dynamic segmentation is, how it can be implemented and why you may want to use it. Use of live demonstrations will aid in showing how dynamic segmentation can be used to: a) populate your GIS with features and information along or adjacent to a street centerline and b) collect pavement condition information that can be dynamically displayed it in your map. The pavement management application being shown is based on a real world application that the city of Concord, NH uses.
