Project Goal

• Over the last 3-4 years DRD’s utility networks for electricity and sewage have been converted from numerous digital formats and paper to a geodatabase. This is an important and essential step to comply with the national regulations, where a network owner shall be able to provide updated and reliable data in digital vector format to a contractor before they start digging in the ground.

• The Green Mobility Model is developed to illuminate the overall traffic flows in Denmark and between Denmark and abroad. The model is used by traffic planners and scientists to model future traffic patterns, including eg. economic and demographic data and shifts to other transportation modes, like trains and bicycles. GMM has recently been updated by Esri partner Rapidis and migrated to ArcGIS Enterprise.

• Another strategic field for DRD is building a modern road infrastructure model. This work aims to establish a model that includes GIS data and LRS (Linear Reference System) data. Since it
