Development Team Biography
James Cunningham is the GIS & Mapping Supervisor at VGS where he has led the growth and implementation of GIS technology for nearly 10 years. As a GIS professional for over 15 years James is a tireless advocate for GIS and innovation, specializing in asset management, GPS data collection, outage management, and emergency preparedness. His free time is spent with his wife and two kids taking care of an 1840’s farmhouse, numerous dogs, chickens and ducks. He also loves fishing, hunting, and cooking.
Robert Watt is a GIS Engineering Technician at Vermont Gas Systems (VGS), where he empowers users to solve problems with maps. He is a recent graduate of the University of Vermont (UVM), where he studied Environmental Science and Geospatial Technology. Robert recently presented on VGS’s unique and leading GIS practices to members of the American Gas Association and acquired his Part 107 UAS Certificate to fly drones commercially. In his personal life, Robert coaches the UVM Nordic Ski C
