Project Goal
Analyze and classify land cover within NNC’s timberland and farmland holdings using deep learning.Business Problem Solved
NNC has over 3 million acres under management and traditional methods for identifying and assessing land cover across NNC’s properties would take a significant amount of time and a large workforce. To simplify and speed up this process, deep learning models were used to identify land cover using SENTINEL-2 10-meter spatial resolution imagery.
