Project Goal

The Ministry of Public Works & Housing has a working area throughout Indonesia with various organizational units that carry out their development projects. Spatial data from each organizational unit is displayed by every data producer using different platforms. The Center for Data & Information Technology has a vision to manage data from each organizational unit so there is a single point of access to provide data & spatial data. SIGI-PUPR’s platform is used as the solution to overcome those issues of different type of data, interoperability & huge data h&ling. Several modules that have been successfully developed includes :
-AST: Infrastructure Dashboard
-GeoAPI: An open-source access to geospatial data & services
-GIS-BIM Design & Progress: 3D design & infrastructure development progress dashboard
-Web 2D: Spatial data infrastructure development dashboard
-Fleet Management: monitoring vehicles for their operations, & it can help them reduce costs, increase safety, & improve effic

Business Problem Solved

One of the problems faced in the development of a new capital city is there are too many types of data that need to be displayed, such as spatial data, 3D BIM, fleet, statistical data, & others. However, using various platforms to display this data makes it difficult & inefficient. Therefore, Esri provides a single platform that can display all of these types of data into one GIS-BIM application.

GIS-BIM with Esri allows for the integration of BIM & geospatial data into a single platform, which provides a comprehensive view of the built environment. This integration enables project managers to better underst& the relationship between a building's physical & functional characteristics & its location in the surrounding environment. With GeoBIM, project managers can visualize the project in 3D, analyze potential conflicts & constraints, & optimize the project's design & construction phases

Technology Implemented

1. Progress Monitoring Dashboard, delivers summarized construction information efficiently to support management in decision-making. Built using ArcGIS Enterprise, the dashboard exhibits orthophotos, surface, & 3D BIM model which demonstrates the updated construction progress. The digital-twin visualizations also serve the 5D BIM concept, with cost & schedule data to give insight about the project’s planning & financing. On-going issues are acquired using Survey123. All dashboard content are automatically updated by ETL process using ArcGIS API for Python, which is very helpful to cut hours of manual works required for data engineering.
2. Fleet Tracking. Empowered by ArcGIS GeoEvent Server, the system provides information about heavy equipment & vehicles working in the construction field. Managers monitor through dashboard & get alerted for issues such as inactivity or movement outside designated area. Movement patterns are analyzed to assure the security of each vehicle asset.

Development Team Biography

Command Center IKN is developed by several working teams, each with their respective roles:
- The development team is responsible for designing & developing the application's features.
- The Integration team is responsible for integrating & managing various data or systems that are connected to the Command Center IKN application.
- The Spatial Data team is responsible for processing spatial data & 3D BIM data so that it can be integrated into the Command Center IKN. In addition, this team is also responsible for monitoring data changes & performing regular updates.
- The Data Statistics team is responsible for managing physical progress data, financial progress data, & land clearance data.

With the collaboration of these teams, Command Center IKN can be organized & provide accurate, timely, & easily understandable information to users, thus helping to make better & faster decisions in carrying out various operations.
