Project Goal

Our project was to create various tools and applications that could be leveraged and embraced amongst all staff members of the Lebanon Water Works Company. These tools have allowed our office staff, field staff, and board members to communicate through the power of maps, data analytics, and visualization. A few examples are:

1) Using a dashboard and field map to show customer cutoff information in real-time
2) Tracking and managing asset inspections and inventory utilizing the power of survey123
3) Building a mobile work order system while maintaining historical relevance
4) Revolutionizing the way we collect data at the Water Plant in support of filling out our state required Monthly Operating Report
5) Creating Lead Service Inventory tools to coincide with what Kentucky requires
6) And much more

Business Problem Solved

Become more efficient in day-to-day operations with a small staff and build a platform to aggregate all data (customer information, asset locations, long term planning, financials, and goals) to be able to effectively communicate the overall health and perform asset management for our utility.
