Project Goal

The Lexington-Fayette Urban County Government (LFUCG) has established centralized location services utilizing ArcGIS technology to deliver location aware applications to City Departments and citizens. The GIS team continues to modernize applications by building them on top of ArcGIS and integrating them with new business systems. These applications open up new capabilities to Departments, including administrative staff, to support data driven decisions. In addition to these applications, Lexington has established a centralized data and application Hub to provide open data access to City data in one centralized location. The specific applications focused on in this award include:

• Lexington Data Hub – Centralized data and application Hub
• LexCall 311 – Integration with business system to provide authoritative data and citizen service request map
• Lex Find – Application allowing citizens to find city services and general information for a given location based on GIS dat
