Project Goal

AlivFibr: A Leap into Next-Gen Connectivity

The AlivFibr project is a visionary initiative aimed at completely transforming our current telecommunications infrastructure. The project’s goal is to achieve:
• 100% Overbuild of Aged HFC: To replace the existing Hybrid Fiber-Coaxial (HFC) network with a more robust and future-proof framework, ensuring higher bandwidth and reliability for customers.
• Rollout of XGSPON Technology: To introduce cutting-edge XGS-PON (10G Symmetrical Passive Optical Network) technology, which will deliver symmetrical, multi-gigabit internet speeds, supporting the surge in demand for high-speed connectivity and advanced services.
This strategic overhaul is designed to meet the growing needs of our digital society, providing a scalable and sustainable solution that will serve as the backbone for smart cities, IoT, and beyond.

Business Problem Solved

• Paperless Adoption: Embracing a digital-first approach, we eliminated paper-based processes, fostering a more sustainable and efficient work environment.
• Stakeholder Collaboration:: Serving as the single source of truth and centralized platform for collaboration, it houses all field assets data, including civil, mobile, and Outside Plant (OSP), ensuring consistency and reliability. This streamlined decision-making leading to faster delivery.
• Productivity and Quality Tracking: The suite allowed us to dispatch to multiple contractors and its’ robust analytics enable us to monitor field productivity and perform quality checks.
• Survey and Addressing: Integral to the deployment, the suite facilitates detailed surveying and precise addressing for each home passed, ensuring accurate service provisioning and customer satisfaction.
• Optimized Network Planning: ArcGIS Enterprise provided powerful spatial analysis tools that enable precise planning of FTTH networks.
