Project Goal
Leesburg Town Maps provides residents, visitors and business owners a resource to locate, access and view geospatial information for the Town of Leesburg through the use of maps and web mapping technology. This site centralizes both previous and new web maps, “Story” Maps, static maps and open data to download. The application is a public facing GIS site that features and distributes a variety of data from several Town departments to both residents and staff.Business Problem Solved
This site helps to centralize and feature a variety of GIS web maps, applications and data developed by staff from the Town of Leesburg. The public and Town staff are then able to view the same iteration of these maps and applications which helps with communication, information and visibility.
Technology Implemented
Enterprise/Portal, Experience Builder, Web AppBuilder, Story Maps and an ArcGIS Online Hub Site for Open Data.
