Project Goal
The Office of Broadband Development's goal for this project to create an online portal for its BEAD Challenge Process where internet providers, local government, and non-profits to challenge the eligibility of individual locations for funding for broadband deployment through the NTIA's BEAD program to ensure accurate and efficient allocation of grant funds.Business Problem Solved
The portal addressed the need for a transparent and efficient mechanism to validate location eligibility for BEAD funding, thereby maximizing the program's effectiveness in expanding broadband access. The portal allowed challengers to submit information to the Office of Broadband Development through the portal and reviewed.
