Utah Office of Governor Cox and UGRC

Project Goal

Utah has a housing affordability crisis. Policy-makers and the state and local level are working to ensure that all Utahns have access to safe, affordable, and stable housing. The goal of this effort was to visually display and track key housing metrics to help inform future policy making and the impact of those policies.

Business Problem Solved

The housing policy space includes a broad range of stakeholders from the private, public, non-profit and general public sectors. Effective policy-making has been difficult when there is disagreement about the facts. This new tool helps move the debate forward to focus on solutions.

Technology Implemented

We used ArcGIS Pro and ArcGIS Online for data management and visualization and built the Housing Metrics Dashboard using ArcGIS Experience Builder with multiple web maps.
