Municipal Authority of Westmoreland County

Project Goal

A geographic information system (GIS) is being used by the Municipal Authority of Westmoreland County to not only visualize and locate both Water and Sewer assets, but it's also allowing decision-makers at all levels to question, analyze, interpret, and understand data in a new way and under different lights. As relationships are revealed, patterns and trends then emerge allowing for a growing awareness of the economic and strategic values of GIS.
