Project Goal

The Alaska Wildland Fire Information Map Series and companion Alaska Interagency Coordination Center Dashboards provide a comprehensive picture of wildland fire activity across the state of Alaska. When possible, the Map Series and Dashboards use data that is updated in near-real time. For ease of use, both applications used a tabbed layout. Alaska Wildland Fire Information Map Series is made up of five tabs: 1. Wildland Fires; 2. Lightning; 3. Fire Spotter; 4. Reporting and Admin; and 5. Fuels and Fire History. Alaska Interagency Coordination Center Dashboards is made up of four tabs: 1. Wildland Fires; 2. Jurisdictions & Acreages; 3. Jurisdiction & IA Options; and 4. Jurisdictions and Protection Boundaries.
