Project Goal

Roadmap in how to transform Enterprise GIS at WaterOne. WaterOne initiated a series of steps to revamp our approach and use of GIS tools to enable the utility to better manage our geospatial assets. During this transformation we partner with our stakeholders in getting their support and understanding of GIS tools available and making them excited about using GIS.
WaterOne also created the vision on how GIS could look at WaterOne and how it should be structure. We hire the right resources to deploy the vision and re-structure the GIS Department and created the Geospatial Services Department. New personnel were added to support all of these efforts. We also partnered with the right providers like ESRI, Spatialitics, CyberTech, Innovize and ROK Technologies. Lastly we entered into an Enterprise program with ESRI and a new Licensing agreement allowing many additional users to access GIS Tools.
