City of Charlotte - Emergency Management

Project Goal

We have established real time situational awareness around planned and unplanned events. This gives the Command Staff and Partners in the Emergency Operations Center (EOC) a way to easily view intelligence no matter the type of incident.

Business Problem Solved

We were collecting static data and real time data without the visualization component to it. To solve this we used the ArcGIS Extension in WebEOC to create Feature Layers (hosted) in ArcGIS Online for our Mass Care Facility, Licensed Care Facility, Significant Event, and Special Needs Registry Boards.

Technology Implemented

We used ArcGIS Operations Dashboard, Survey 123 Connect, Quick Capture, Experience Builder, Web AppBuilder, Nearby Web App, ArcGIS Tracker, Community HUB, Community Analyst, and Insights.
