Project Goal
The goal and purpose of the envisaged GIS within NV EBS is: (i) to provide EBS with an efficient platform for data management, planning and analysis, workforce automation and situational awareness by improving spatial data quality and data sharing; (ii) to give EBS a powerful decision-making tool by linking data to geographic locations so that better decisions can be made regarding internal operations and delivery to clients; and (iii) to create the internal knowledge and capacity on GIS technology knowledge for maintaining the GIS system and services.Business Problem Solved
- Data centrally available and data searching & sharing optimized by preserving and digitizing analogue maps with electric data through GIS technologies.
- Business process optimized by creating a better overview and shortening search time for service point numbers by using a new workflow with GIS technologies for mapping services.
Technology Implemented
ArcGIS for Desktop
ArcGIS for Server
ArcGIS Online
