Project Goal

O projecto tem como objectivo ter um conhecimento real da situação educacional em Cabo Verde.
Desde infra-estruturas, universo escolar, incluindo professores, com informação dos mais variados tipos para criar meios de análise no planeamento escolar.
Acompanhamento de incidentes dos mais variados tipo criando meios para actuar atempadamente com a e aumentando a qualidade do ensino.
O planeamento passa por analisar geograficamente carências de infra-estruturas, saber origem de alunos e os vectores sociais que cruzam com o seu comportamento e sua prestação escolar, acedendo a dados estatísticos em tempo real socio económicos.
Em resumo o grande objectivo é ter todas as informações mapeadas de forma a auxiliar um planeamento eficaz educacional.

Business Problem Solved

The big problem to be solved was to pass knowledge on paper for a platform to geographically represent the various analysis indicators, and this time I am afraid some 300 can make decisions with knowledge of the deeper reality.
Minimizing costs in decision making and increase the effectiveness of the responses to be and always improving the quality of education.

Technology Implemented

The developed platform involves the joining of several components of the platform, we now have an integrated and real-time information system based on ArcGIS for Server and a set of technological options to help all maintenance and dissemination of information such as ArcGIS for Desktop, ArcGIS Online, Survey123 for ArcGIS, Collector for ArcGIS, ArcGIS Maps for Office and Operations Dashboard for ArcGIS.

Development Team Biography

The team planning has people of different areas right now, totaling about 16, and covering areas of geographic information and statistics, most of them with great expertise in education, which is fundamental for the support and understanding of the subjects addressed.
