Project Goal

The Cuidarte program is an innovative model of comprehensive home care for early childhood (children between 6 months and 36 months of age); providing support for quality food through the production of organic vegetables; and, the strengthening of life skills and teaching-learning methodologies. In addition, it recognizes the leading role that families have in the care, upbringing, education and development of children in their early childhood, making it the closest setting for co-responsibility in guaranteeing the rights of children. In the same way, it prioritizes the cultural and geographical particularities of the country's population that lives in dispersed rural areas and marginal urban areas; seeking to strengthen and enhance the identity and cultural practices that promote health and prevent disease, and in parallel, identify situations of risk of violation of rights and promotion of these.
