Company Overview
The Orange County Fire Authority Preplan (SAM) program is a GIS initiative providing a standardized, countywide approach to pre-incident planning across nine fire departments. It supports over 6,000 preplans, including more than 3,400 maintained by OCFA, by converting legacy PDFs into a dynamic geospatial system.
The system centralizes critical facility data—such as access points, hazards, and fire protection systems—within ArcGIS Online, enabling real-time situational awareness. A scalable governance model supports shared data contributions while preserving agency ownership, improving coordination, responder safety, and access to critical information in the field.
