County of Wright

Project Goal

The goal of the application was to provide internal and external users with a web-based tool for quick and easy access to commonly requested information on services provided by the Health and Human Services Department at Wright County. Built as a centralized platform, it helps community members locate, access, and learn more about the services available to them without having to visit the Government Center in person, or call.

Business Problem Solved

Residents and staff often face challenges when trying to access essential HHS services through the county website. Inconsistent search functionality, outdated information, and text-heavy pages can make it difficult for users to find the information or services they need. By keeping the customer experience at the forefront, prioritizing simplicity in the product design, and leveraging the workgroup as data owners, the GIS team developed an application that improves how users locate and access services
