Project Goal
The goal of the State of the State Story Map is to highlight the utilization of GIS technology across the state government enterprise. Essentially, this effort is designed to go beyond the data and provide a mechanism for state agencies to describe how they use GIS data, software, and infrastructure to support workflows and solve problems. Agencies provide summaries including resource allocation, products, and major initiatives.Business Problem Solved
The State of the State Story Map provides a centralized and engaging resource to tell the story regarding the utilization of geospatial technology across state government. The Story Map is updated on an annual basis and referenced throughout the year at GIS-related conferences and leadership events. The Story Map improves transparency across state government.
