Project Goal
GOHub is an open data site that provides access to GIS data resources in the Greater Omaha-Council Bluffs area. GOHub aggregates data from Douglas and Sarpy counties in Nebraska and Pottawattamie county in Iowa. This collaborative effort increases data transparency and access in our region.Business Problem Solved
MAPA provides funding to local GIS departments to support data products that are essential to understanding transportation, land use, and economic development. These products are used by MAPA and local governments for planning activities throughout the MAPA region. GOHub automates the aggregation of these products and provides a centralized platform for data access.
Technology Implemented
GOHub uses the ArcGIS Hub platform. Service layers are tagged to ArcGIS Online groups that load data into the hub page. The platform also centralizes access to ArcGIS Online web applications.
