Project Goal

The State of Ohio saw a need to have a statewide parcel dataset. Each county in Ohio has digital parcel data with disparate database schemas. To accomplish this task, Ohio contracted with Esri, Catalis and Woolpert to pull these datasets together. The project was accomplished with voluntary data submissions form each of Ohio’s 88 counties, to include their CAMA data which was joined to the geometry data by Catalis.

Business Problem Solved

A single source for this information was needed as most events and needs always cross county boundaries. Before the project ended, we found 4 use-cases that were implemented immediately. The exemplified the need and quickly provided value to the project.

Technology Implemented

Esri: ArcGIS Hub Premium for distribution of the final product and some collection of county data. SQL Server for merging the CAMA databases together. ArcGIS Pro for merging the CAMA database to the geospatial dataset.
