Project Goal

Airport Geographic Information System called LetGIS was launched in the year 2000. Through this system, all location-related airport information is available to more than 1,000 employees. It constitutes a full data set of the premises and its grounds, primarily the location of buildings including hangars, runways, taxiing and check-in areas, and zones for aircraft stands. It details parts of buildings, such as floors, rooms, equipment, and premises. It also handles information on all utility systems. The software provides oversight of managed assets, encompassing over 1,000 hectares of land, with 30 kilometers of runways and taxiways, and more than 1,000 kilometers of utility networks.

Business Problem Solved

A solution was developed for the presentation, publication and sharing of geospatial data in the organization. We had been using a solution based on Autodesk IMS along with a custom developed web and mobile application. We needed a standardized technology platform that was stable, secure, and used by thousands of customers worldwide. That's how we found Esri.
Our solution is now based on the latest technology, is configurable, and has a variety of ready-made applications. There is also a clear roadmap for future development.
