Business Problem Solved

In terms of flood and drought issues, DPT also leverage this portal to serve in collecting social problem information such as handicap, drugs, poverty, and mental illness. This information can be supplemental information to help with planning for engaging with communities in the related areas.
This project drastically shortens times to implement as it had utilized ready- to-use apps to create geospatial infrastructure and related applications allowing field activities to get carried out quickly with close monitoring from management.

Technology Implemented

ESRI software has been utilized in many parts of the project to prepare data and information to help collecting problems and issues around flood and drought, and summarizing information along with suggestions from local governments as well as tracking status of each initiative created to solve the problems that have been reported.
Portal for ArcGIS was implemented to distribute the map to all users in provincial and central offices in both management and operation levels. There are approximately 180 users from 76 provinces. The digital maps such as administrative boundary, road, hydro, building block, and aerial photos have been arranged and prepared by using ArcGIS Pro and shared to Portal for ArcGIS.
